Why Mission Meow is so needed.
65%
of animal shelters receive no government funding.
1.4mil
mission cats are in shelters and rescues across the United States.
90%
of small animal rescues report that they are underfunded.
70%
of small rescues operate on a budget of $25,000 or less annually.
Approximately 530,000 cats are euthanized in U.S. shelters each year due to overpopulation and lack of resources. Small rescues play a critical role in reducing these numbers by pulling cats from high-kill shelters, but they need financial support to continue this lifesaving work.
Nonprofit organizations rely mostly on donations. Raising funds has become increasingly more difficult, while the need for more rescue work has not diminished. Your donation could be the reason a rescue with such limited resources can purchase a much-needed transport vehicle.

How does it work?
Mission Meow has a growing group of businesses who contribute a quarterly donation. Each quarter those donations are combined with individual donors’ contributions and an organization is selected to receive those funds. The recipient will be thoroughly vetted through our application process, and you will know exactly where the grant is being allocated.
